Half of the land on Sanibel island is designated as natural areas with two preserves protecting the island ecology and wildlife, while the other half offers resort and glistening beaches.

The Elbe is one of the Central Europe's greatest rivers, rising in the northern Czech Republic, traversing through Bohemia and Germany, and flowing into the North Sea not far from Hamburg. El Valle de Antón is a mountain town in Panama’s Coclé Province, set within the broad crater of an inactive volcano. Sharing a common lagoon with Raiatean and accessible only by boat, Taha'a produces about 80% of all vanilla in French Polynesia. Taha'a is the only island in the Society Islands that can be completely circled by boat inside the protected lagoon.
